This axe head is a rugged work of art, forged by Ike from 4142 chrome moly steel to the weight of approximately 1 pound, 2 ounces. The head is about 5 7/8 inches in overall length and it offers a cutting edge
of about 3 3/8 inches. This one has a lot of character.

The head is paired with a fine genuine hickory handle with a length of approximately 15 inches overall.

This axe features its own leathern snap sheath, also made by Ike…thoughtfully designed for carry on the left side, leaving the right side of the belt for a knife, while providing ready access for the user.
