This knife is hammer-forged of 1095 high carbon steel in a 1/8-inch thickness. The hammer-marks that are left intact along the top part of the blade provide a rustic appeal…the lower area is aged. The cut-out in the blade is ideal to utilize for close work, allowing this knife to fit easily in your hand for a task such as caping out a deer. See the blog for a couple more photos!

Overall, we have a measurement of approximately 6 3/4 inches, with the cutting edge measuring about 2 7/8-inches.
