Knife designs have had a fascinating journey through history, with makers and adventuring woodsmen creating their own unique pieces, each paving a part of the road along the way.
This knife, which is based off of a photo of one of those antique knives, silently speaks of the past with plenty of period flavor! The handle has a comfortably angular feel, while the blade follows a style reminiscent of what we now know as a Bowie blade.
The Tennessee is approximately 6 3/4 inches overall, with a blade of about 3 inches. The blade is constructed of O-1 high carbon steel in a 3/32-inch width and it has an aged finish. Osage orange and three brass pins combine for the handle. Please note that there is no lanyard hole, further adding to its period look.
This knife comes fixed up with its own custom, hand stitched leather sheath.
$185, plus shipping. If you have any questions, please direct them to lucas@customhuntingknives.org. Thank you so much for looking! Happy trails!
