The trusty Kephart is a classic, versatile hunting and field knife design. This one has a blade of 5/32-inch, O-1 high carbon blade with a satin finish.

The handle is traditional walnut with a trio of brass pins.

Overall, we have a measurement of approximately 8 7/8 inches, including the 4-inch blade. The 4″ blade length gives this knife a stubby, chunky feel, being a little shorter than the standard 4 1/2″ blade. Also the 5/32″ thickness adds a little heft over the standard 1/8″ blade.

This Kephart comes with its own custom Trekker sheath, handmade here in Alabama. It’s ready to go with a sharpening stone and firestarter with a 3/8-inch rod (not pictured).
