Scout, Custom Hunting Knives, Lucas ForgeHowdy, folks! Continuing the celebration of the 15-year milestone, here’s a photo of an original.  This is a Scout, the first named Lucas Forge design. We’re kind of fond of the Scout, having used this knife and made memories with it for years…including the legendary Scout that was dramatically swept away on an epic canoe expedition!

And now, it’s a pleasure to introduce the New Model Scout, a new special release! Based on the old-faithful Scout, this latest release carries on the tradition, with some intentional features for a clean, efficient design.

Pick it up, this knife just feels like it wants to be used! The design is very well-balanced and has a pleasing heft that works with you.

Scout Knife, Lucas Forge, Custom Hunting Knives, Custom Belt Knife, High Carbon Knives, Handmade Knives, USA Made Knives It features a wide, drop point blade style like the original, but with a full sharpened edge, giving you maximum blade capacity. The blade is constructed from 1/8″ O-1 high carbon tool steel, with a flat grind and aged finish. Skinning, chopping, slicing, this versatile knife is ready to tackle it!
